Organic Mountains 100% Pure Honey - Wildflower Feature

  • Stores upside down!
  • Convenient Plastic Squeeze Bottle with a patented Dripless Lid.
  • Full-time Family Beekeeping operation for over 50 years!
In the Mountains of North Georgia, from April until June, our bees travel 2-3 miles from their hives to gather the nectars of Blackberry, Tulip Poplar, Maple, and hundreds of other flowers. This wide variety of nectar sources is what gives Wildflower Honey its depth and complexity, just like a good cabernet. Enjoy this treat with your favorite gourmet cheese or on an organic peanut butter sandwich. Our bees made this honey from the nectar of wildflowers in the North Georgia Mountains in the spring of 2010. We harvested it the first week in June, let the honey pass through a cheesecloth filter (to ensure there aren't any wings, etc.), then we seal the honey directly into the container that you receive. It doesn't get any more pure than this!

As the most sought after Honey in the Southern United States, its extra light golden color and distinctively rich flavor cannot be mistaken. The Sourwood Tree, also called Lily of the Valley Tree, blooms in midsummer in the Mountains of North Georgia. With its caramel flavor and hints of buttery maple it goes great on homemade biscuits, or for the tea lover it is great in anything from a robust Spiced Chai to a smooth Earl Grey.
